Public Service Announcement
Would you or somebody you know like to see a priest? Fr. Q is always happy to come to homes to bring Communion, have Confession, give a blessing, or just have some spiritual conversation. We can even stay outside for safety. Please call the office or send him an email for an appointment. We can also arrange for Communion on an ongoing basis for the homebound.
Renovations at St. Catherine's
Thanks to your generous donations, renovations are moving forward at St. Catherine's! Fr. Q will give a status report on our renovations on Sunday, August 23at 11:30am in the church. Your participation and feedback are warmly welcomed. See you there!
Outdoor Mass
Our St. Catherine parish council last week reviewed the status of our COVID Mass arrangements, in particular the 5pm Saturday outdoor vigil Mass. We discussed your comments and suggestions - thank you! The Council resolved to continue with this Mass, as it meets a need for our parish and surrounding parishes that is not offered anywhere else. However, cognizant of your concerns about the time shift from our usual 4pm Mass, we resolved to move aggressively to return 4pm as soon as possible depending on weather. Our hope is to return to 4pm by late September, even if that makes for a hotter experience than would waiting a few more weeks. We will of course keep you posted; feel free to ask me any questions. -Fr. Q
